License application

Postby jaxnix8050 » Mon, 2016-06-06 14:24

After more than a year struggling to obtain a firearm license, first it was refused and then CFR lost my application, I joined GOSA and they put me in contact with Annette Clark from Clark Attorneys. She did an excellent job with my new application and motivation. I handed my application in on 4 Feb 2016 and it was approved on 16 May 2016.

Today, I received word from the Secunda DFO that my license card has arrived.

Thank you Annette Clark for an excellent job. You were always willing and prompt to reply to my emails.

Thank you GOSA for referring me to Annette and for what you are doing for Gun owners in South Africa. Your "struggle" against the system is real and you need all the help that you can get to continue your fight.

This makes me wonder...

Should I rather get someone to help me with my application from the start?

I applied 15 years back. The license was refused due to my motivation. I submitted an appeal, but that is still pending...
